How to Vectorize

The process of creating a vector is a simple, yet also a complex process. There are various techniques on How to vectorize a picture coming from a reference Photoshop. The capabilities of the Photoshop’s vector is then quickly shut down with the help of those who are truly familiar with the different vector programs like macromedia Freehand, Corel Draw, and Adobe Illustrator. There are certain tools that can be of use to vectorize an image. Most of these can be use without limit, meaning they can explore all positive avenues on creating a design. There is a brief comparison between the rastor and vector.

The rastor is based purely on the pixel of an image. It simply means to say that a certain image is dependent on the color values being designate with the use of pixel. Examples of these are the scanned images and photographs. To better understand the process on how to vectorize, one must first know the meaning of a vector.

A vector is a shape based being bound with different anchor points, thus, coming up with a sold object. The different anchor points are then followed be either a dot or a line, following a certain path. There are different benefits and advantages associated with the use of vector. The main benefit is that it does not limit the resolution of a certain image. This is the reason vector is mostly preferred that rastor. It also gives an image a refined shape. It still got to maintain the quality and the sharpness of an object. It also aids in different photo editing like putting styles and reshaping.
